Meeting and debate on the play "Avant que j'oublie" - 18 February in Brussels!
In partnership with the Ligue Alzheimer ASBL, Théâtre 140 is presenting "Avant que j'oublie", a play based around the reunion of a daughter and her mother who are about to be permanently separated by Alzheimer's disease. Performed from 17 to 19 February by Vanessa Van Durme, the second performance will be followed by a "meeting-debate", a good opportunity to talk about everyday life with Alzheimer's disease and raise awareness among the audience!
On 18 February, after the theatrical performance of 'Avant que j'oublie' (Before I forget), a play that takes an unusual look at Alzheimer's disease, the public will have the opportunity to attend a discussion on a subject that is sometimes taboo. Hosted by Sabine Henry, President of the Ligue Alzheimer ASBL, and the artist Vanessa Van Durme, the aim of the discussion is to raise awareness among the audience and discuss the experiences of people with Alzheimer's disease and their carers. After some useful information, the speakers and the audience will discuss the disease.
The Ligue warmly invites you to take part in this special event! What's more, a preferential rate of 8 euros will be granted to members of the Alzheimer's League ASBL on presentation of their membership card, as well as to nursing staff who mention the League. Accompanying persons will pay only 13 euros.
